Sabbah and other so-called 'peace' blogs

they are fake. I am now completely convinced that the only reason they are still existing is because they deny everybody with a different opinion (and thus ground for dialogue) to place their comments there.

I've had this on a blog called "Sabbah's Blog" where my -good mannered but opposite- opinion postings were systematically deleted. I took it that he's afraid of me. I still think so. So, with that you can differentiate between 'honest' blogs and those set up just for their personal (virtual) 'fame' thing (like this Mr. Ray Hananiya I wrote about in the past and this Sabbah guy for instance) to boost their ego.

Well, I must say that these phony bloggers probably only find 'support' with like-wise people: people that are too weak to go into dialogue. Now, that baffles me. How come people cannot look through their obvious personal obsessional hate that has nothing to do with wanting PEACE?

Anyway, I write this because I stumbled upon an article at a blog (where my comments weren't published either) that tells about the 'zionist' preventing mr. Sabbah from plumping down his hatred on . . . .facebook LOL. He - Mr. Whining Sabbah - doesn't allow for freedom of speech on his own blog, and is complaining (and of course taking full advantage of the situation by blackmouthing the 'zionists' who have nothing to do with it) about others following his example but now doing it to him instead. LOOOOLLL - really, hypocrites are so obvious that those following them cannot (or I think mostly do not want to) see the hypocracy and for all clearly seen lies behind their words anymore.

I though I write this down here, since it is ME sorta 'sticking my neck out' trying to confront them in their 'devil's caves' while they themselves are too much cowards to even try to publish my comments in their 'own territory'.

If you wonder what I'm talking about here is the link. Refrain from laughing out loud, because honestly: it just is too pathetic :D

Tse.

The link to the blog I posted comments on about it, but weren't published (pay attention to how they misuse the word "peace"

Mr. Sabbah, the question is :

DO PEOPLE WANT TO REACH A SOLUTION?? especially you who gains his 'popularity' on distributing hate!

Comments:
But, does it really matter if a blogger won't go into dialog? you have your own blog to voice your opinion, and you do it very well :). Their loss.
In the page you linked, they say they couldn't contact facebook's staff. Isn't that unfair? i mean they should be allowed to defend themselves of these complaints and accusations, before they get eventually banned or cleared.

I have no idea what you were posting on his blog, but join the club.

And BTW, the link you provided... they have your comments published.

Xoussef, of course it matters. It vows for his sincerity. If he spews hatred 'backed by facts' - then at least he should be able to defend these 'facts'. He doesn't have to of course if his intention is not going after reality but forcing his views (read hate) upon others and inflaming them. But, in that case, he should most certainly not complain if other virtual 'bodies' do the same thing to him, without spewing hatred even.

Dima thanks, I look and I saw it now. "Israeli Porno" seems to have been the excuse for moderation. Nvm, at least it's places notwithstanding the 'subtle' accusing "Israeli's" of commenting with "porno" on that blog, LOL.... so transparent.....

Anyway, I see you 'stumbled upon' mr. Sabbah's censureship as well - I hope his hateful one-sided propaganda blog will one time be exposed for what it really stands for...

i think you are going to a wrong kind of blogs ... i used to comment frequently on arab blogs and i am probably not the nicest person on the block but i would not say that i had my comments so frequently removed or blocked even if some of these comments were plainly racist and outrageous ...

though i never claimed wanting PEACE so much or harboring a particular goodwill to our neighbors, so my talks with them were mostly technical stuff .. good relationships i had with some arab bloggers were totally on the individual basis .. i was not building bridges with the others side....

but i dont get what kind of discussions one can have with people like ray hanania ... he is not even talking so much as he is preaching ... even if you can catch him in a particular good mood, the man is still boring like hell ...

BTW i think that israelis overdo the thing with accusations in anti semitism .. they may have a point or they may not but no sane person can hear anymore israelis accusing yet another person or blog in anti semitism ...

Nobody,, I don't care. If something is anti-semitic then that should be said. I personally never accuse anyone having criticism or even hate for Israel of anti-antisemitism, but when antisemitic elements are used (like the 'typical thing' argument) then for sure I wouldn't keep my mouth shut just because someone else might be fed-up from hearing it. Like DUH, what do I care?

Nah, there are some really, really nice arab blogs around, with totally opposite opinions of mine, and they don't remove my comments. This is not particularly about "arab" blogs (you know me, I am not racist at all) - but this Sabbah guy is like a dictator on his blog, beheading free-speech and I cannot stand the hypocracy (I think hypocracy is even worse than hatred) - he reminds me in his tactics of a snake, brrrrr

Ray Haniniya? He thinks he's God :D

the thing that surprised me most is the way lirun is treated sometimes on the other side .. they often blamed him in extremism and dishonesty ... one of them, after she has found my blog, told him that she now understands that he is extremely moderate ... until then she was apparently holding him an extremist ...

The narrative is different 'there' so that is very much possible. There are some who think that if you don't think that Israel (although you might live here) is the devil in person, you are extremist.

That's also the image Mr. Whiny Sabbah likes to keep up and promotes.

isn't this blogger Haitham Sabbah the guy who was leading the campaign against One Voice's concert in Jericho,Tse,leading it to be concelled?

Btw....talking about extremists,did u see Trepp's post on Ali?

my impression is that many of them are not really interested in finding a practical solution ... they are more into assigning blames and moral posturing ... among palestinian bloggers i know nizo is the only one who has a practical down to earth approach ...

I don't know, Hmmmmmmmmmmm - I have personally lost interest in reading Sabbah's blog after I read it the first time and my comments were removed and after that a few times more. But wasn't it a blogger calling himself 'justice ... something' that started with this thing?
I don't care. As long as people are allowed to give a different opinion about it in the comments sections ....

Nobody I know quite some Palestinians who have a realistic approach. The 'realistic' being that they don't have to agree to everything 'we' say, but willing and interested in finding a mutually agreed upon understanding. You can not expect people with a totally different view/education/experience on the past here to agree with 'our' views.

Btw: who's 'trepp'?

being practical has little to do with agreeing, respecting or whatever .. it's simply to know what the other side can give you, what you are ready to give them and even more what you want to get ...

they dont have to agree with us ... as to me i think they deserve nothing ... i am no fan of the arabs in general and the palestinians in particular ... they can think that everything belongs to them ... i think all of them belong to the wilderness of saudi arabia ...

they are the imperialists of the region who destroyed countless cultures and languages ... take any textbook on history of the middle east ... where all this diversity has gone?? languages?? religious cults? philosophical schools ??? it was like wiped out by one huge cultural nuclear bomb ... now this whole one billion strong muslim civilization is fighting us for the one and a half square meter of this wasteland ... and for no other purpose than to establish here yet another corrupt and tyrannical arab state, a mirror copy failure of dozens of their other states ... there is no fairness in this as far as i am concerned ...

i dont tell this to arab bloggers usually because i dont think they need to know this ... the only thing that they need to know is that i am ready for the two state solution ... the one state solution is out of question ... no refugees in israel proper ... and i dont mind surviving here another their intifada if it comes to this ...

as to their views on justice, humanism and whatever, i dont care for this at all ... and neither i think they should care for mine ... i am not going to negotiate this with them ... let alone i hold them barbarians in the worst case, while in the best a poor monkey parody on the delusional western leftism/liberalism ...

being practical has little to do with agreeing, respecting or whatever .. it's simply to know what the other side can give you, what you are ready to give them and even more what you want to get ...

When what you want to get and what the other side can give you don't add up, there is a problem.... Is it still practical then?
Or, maybe it is better to start talking, interacting, getting to know eachother in the most basic form so that both won't look at the other as if they are out only to get them?

they dont have to agree with us ... as to me i think they deserve nothing ... i am no fan of the arabs in general and the palestinians in particular ... they can think that everything belongs to them ... i think all of them belong to the wilderness of saudi arabia ...

Why? Didn't and don't they live here, and isn't it then where they belong? They think you belong in Russia. If the tables would ever turn. . . how would you feel about that?
Personally I believe "they" (anyway I hardly see differences as you know) belong here and not only here but with us. "They" are our cousins, and family you don't chose, but have to learn to live with as good as possible.

this whole one billion strong muslim civilization is fighting us for the one and a half square meter of this wasteland ... and for no other purpose than to establish here yet another corrupt and tyrannical arab state, a mirror copy failure of dozens of their other states ... there is no fairness in this as far as i am concerned ...

I agree. But it is NOT 'them' (them is such a generalizing principle - 'arabs' in general don't exist -I think- only looking at the internal struggles they have. . . ) "They" are individuals just like anyone else. the problem comes with the political, (so-called) religious leaders and clan-heads. The ones that should be 'wise' are only hateful to ward off internal strive and they ward it into our direction....

You know I sometimes wonder if there wouldn't be a 'common enemy' and life would be peaceful in Israel, if we wouldn't be going at eachother's throats - seen the huge differences between the in the meanwhile very aggressive becoming 'fanatics' and the rest of the Israeli public.... (look at rabin what happened). Wouldn't "moderates" be more focusing at those fanatics instead of busying themselves with 'the conflict'?

no refugees in israel proper
I used to think like that. It's like destroying Israel from the inside, not 'like' it IS. But. . .

since Nizo came into the picture I have started doubting. I would love to have him as my neighbor - and I would love to give up some of those hysterical hate-spewing hill-top settlers. (I know: it's their country not less than it's my country so I can't say anything but, "labels" don't really mean common-ness).

Human rights - we both know that's a fata morgana in the Middle Eastern countries except for Israel. But then. . . if you follow the arab blog-world, you can see for yourself there is a true uprising going on. Maybe still being choked both by the political 'leaders' and the so-called religious "leaders" - but it's a beginning.

Israel of course is the ideal and indoctrinated scapegoat for 'them' who's to blame for everything, but slowly slowly, if Israel threads carefully and not start striking out like a madman just released from his cell (like in the last Lebanon war), people can see for themselves that problems "at home" have nothing to do with problems of other countries.

the problem comes with the political, (so-called) religious leaders and clan-heads.

Oh yeah and, of course, with people like that popularistic Sabbah Whiney guy :D

When what you want to get and what the other side can give you don't add up, there is a problem.... Is it still practical then?

being practical does not mean believing that there is always a solution .. it's not being practical then, it's fanaticism ...

since Nizo came into the picture I have started doubting. I would love to have him as my neighbor

maybe .. but nizo himself does not seem to fancy himself with having his beloved palestinian nation as his neighbors ... probably that's why he is in montreal ... as he explained it to me one day he is no fan of bungee jumping, or to be more specific he feels dizzy and disoriented when being dangled upside down from lampposts ...

Why? Didn't and don't they live here, and isn't it then where they belong? They think you belong in Russia. If the tables would ever turn. . . how would you feel about that?

tsedek .. as i told you i dont think the arabs need to know or care for what i or other israelis think about where they belong to ... not that i am interested to know what they think on this matter .. so why should you tell me that they think i belong to russia and other israelis elsewhere ??? do you think that i dont know this or do you think that i care ???

f you follow the arab blog-world, you can see for yourself there is a true uprising going on. Maybe still being choked both by the political 'leaders' and the so-called religious "leaders" - but it's a beginning.

there is an uprising going on in the arab blogsphere .. it's hard not to notice it ... this cyberrrevolution may soon become a real one in some countries ... by the language and mentality of this revolution it greatly reminds me one that happened in russia in 1917 after which dozens of millions died .... let alone that it draws its inspiration from the same ideological sources, means marxism and other semi marxist leftist ideological crap...

another, and probably even more likely, revolution which is under way over there reminds me of one that happened in iran in 1979 ...

they would be very lucky if their kings and dictators survive this uprising ... because whatever their rulers may have done to them, it's nothing compared to what these people can do to each other when set on the loose... you can get some clues about the nature of this incoming revolution from iraq and gaza ...

So-called peace blogs get generally a very enormous amount of abuse by commenters, when they are not being threatened or flooded with porno spam.

Debate and dialogue is good, but the absolute WORST in this seem to be the "good, moderate, practical" so-called pro-Israel so-called peace bloggers. Treppenwitz, after he deleted me, sent threatening mails to my emails with death threats. Yes. I have them archived, if you think I'm kidding.

Lisa would not respond to my queries, she sicked her squad on me as if I were a "Troll", yes, this is the word, and they were basically instructed to harrass, abuse and demean me.

Others follow this trend on your side, my dear. You may just not notice it. By the way, Sabbah is doing more for justice in the world than almost anyone you or I can think of, and your comments are just the sound of someone who seems to resent your own small impact and decide to focus on something where YOU become a victim, shifting the focus so that you are at the centre. If it weren't kind of sad, it would actually be funny.

And what is even funnier is the nonsense that I had been censoring your comments. It is clear when you leave them that they are moderated. Both of your comments were published, even ones dated before this post, so, why not adjust your bullshit post here to reflect that you are wrong. You can't do that because it kind of blows your whole thesis out of the water.

thecutter

By the way, Sabbah is doing more for justice in the world than almost anyone you or I can think of,

I don't think so, if he deletes my comments systematically. A balanced view and propogating this doesn't go with accepting only the views that agree with you.

Lisa would not respond to my queries, she sicked her squad on me as if I were a "Troll", yes, this is the word, and they were basically instructed to harrass, abuse and demean me.

That is very wrong. But why take it out on just another individual who doesn't do those things? I am in contact with MANY Palestinians who don't share my view but also don't censure my comments. Isn't that the REAL call for justice (as opposite to this sabbah guy who ducks away when his 'perfect' whining gets opposed?

your comments are just the sound of someone who seems to resent your own small impact

small or large, you really think it has any influence on matters? Anyway, I don't resent any 'impact' just as long as things are played by the rules and the rules call for FREEDOM OF SPEECH, which Sabbah is NOT abiding to.

Both of your comments were published,
Yes, I apologize. that was hasty of me. though understandable if you would have your comments be erased so many times as I have. :)

such hypocracy !!!

" Zionist inspired censorship on "liberal" blogs is now following an old pattern of verbal attack, charges of anti-Semitism and hate, and false accusations to instill silence about Israel's deadly military occupation and colonization of Palestinian lands. As such, liberal blogs are now following the mainstream media in enforcing silence about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "

you and sh did exactly the same thing on ShaSa only you did it to an Israeli post-zionist
again we call you a hate filled hypocrite tsedek
